I flew to Houston for the Enron Bankruptcy Auction. It was not a very productive sale for anyone in our business. For those looking for a trophy or who wanted to pay incredibly high prices it was fine, however thru luck and patience, I did make enough to pay for the trip and some great memories.

 

The auction was massively attended both in the Audience and Online Bidding, this is never a good thing for bargains.  At one point the Auctioneers Satellite feed went down and the prices were “normal” for about 20 minutes, I was able to buy a few lots of Gaylords full of “misc” a crap shoot but it worked.
